EPAnEK – NSRF 2014-2020

The company Marakis F Chronaki M P.C., based in the region of Heraklion, joined the Action « Strengthening the Establishment of a New Tourist Operation », Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship &Innovation” (EPAnEK), 2014-2020.
The aid rate for the investment project is 50% .

The Action aims to support micro, small and medium-sized tourism businesses to improve their position in the domestic and international tourism market and concerns all regions of the country.

The total investment budget of the company is co-financed by Greece and the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union.

The business plan approved for financing and implemented includes investments in the following categories:

• Machinery – Equipment
• Means of transportation
• Monitoring the implementation of the Investment Plan
• Market studies / surveys
• Promotion

Through participation in the Action, the company achieved:

• development of diving tourism in Greece
• improving its competitiveness
• increase its profitability
• its entry into new tourist markets
• expanding the market by adding new services
• ensuring higher quality of service
• increase productivity
• enhancing entrepreneurship
• creating / maintaining quality job positions
